Business Description

Mariaskolan is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 130 students and an after-school program, located in a residential area near the center. At Mariaskolan, the Gällivare model project is underway, which means that each class from grades 1-6 has a teaching responsible teacher and a class mentor.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching art to students in grades 3-6 and other related tasks for teachers. The position is 25% but can be combined with other subjects for full-time work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and experience working with children and youth.

Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working Hours/Duration

Full-time, 25%, art teacher, the position can be combined with other subjects if desired, thereby increasing the employment rate.
