In the academic year 2024/2025, Sollefteå High School has over 600 students. The school includes 13 national programs, encompassing both higher education preparatory programs and vocational programs, as well as the adapted upper secondary school.

The school is characterized by a strong sports profile through a nationally recruited ski gymnasium and profiling in hockey, football, and dance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching vocational courses in the direction of trucks and mobile machines in the vehicle program, as well as mentorship for your teaching group, are prioritized tasks. The responsibilities also include contact with the industry for securing internships and following up with students during their APL.

You will be responsible for planning and conducting teaching in the relevant courses, both individually and in collaboration with other teachers. It is important that you can organize and document your work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a background as a vehicle mechanic in trucks and mobile/heavy machines, and who possesses good theoretical and practical knowledge in your field. If you have a vocational teacher's degree, mentor training, or have worked as a mentor in the industry, it is an advantage.

We place great value on your personal qualities and competencies. The role requires you to be structured and goal-oriented; it is essential for you to organize and plan your work well. You have good communication skills, can motivate, create engagement, and encourage participation.
