Maintenance Engineer for an exciting role at Wabtec Faiveley Nordic AB in Landskrona

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will develop and implement innovative working methods and processes within machine maintenance. You will closely collaborate with team leaders, operators, and other support functions to ensure high availability and efficiency in the machinery. You will be part of a dynamic team consisting of 5 production engineers, 2 workshop technicians, and 2 maintenance mechanics.

You will be offered a varied key role in production at a leading player where you will work with advanced technology while ensuring that our machinery operates optimally.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and preparation: Responsible for maintenance preparation of our entire facility, including buildings, lathes, milling machines, robots, and presses. This involves defining maintenance activities, intervals, and spare parts.
• Development of maintenance plans: Continuously improve and follow up on maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime.
• Coordination of maintenance: Coordinate both preventive and urgent maintenance with internal and external parties to ensure smooth processes.
• Service agreements: Establish, follow up, and evaluate service agreements with external suppliers to ensure high quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Technical support: Provide technical support during the purchase and installation of new machines to ensure they meet our high standards.

Your profile:

You have an engineering degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, including knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You have solid experience in the administration of maintenance systems, maintenance preparation, and maintenance planning in production environments. Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required. Electrical certification is highly meritorious and seen as a significant advantage.

You are a structured and analytical person who enjoys working both independently and in teams. You have a natural ability to take the lead in complex and urgent machinery issues. You are communicative and have an easy time creating and maintaining relationships within the organization. You appreciate a role with many contact points where collaboration, responsiveness, and quality awareness are central values.

About the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Landskrona. Start date immediately upon agreement.
