About the role

As a technician with us, your main tasks are to perform service and installations at our customers' locations.

With a good understanding of the whole picture, and an interest in troubleshooting and repairing, you work with freedom under responsibility to solve the problems our customers may have.

Responsibilities

As a technician at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, you combine knowledge and expertise with a service mindset and top-notch customer interaction.

You have a company car, work from home, and enjoy a lot of freedom with responsibility. Our work area includes traditional gas stations and electric vehicle charging stations, where you will be our face to the public.

During a workday, you will for example:

• Perform troubleshooting on charging stations and fuel pumps, payment terminals, payment systems, and other equipment at a gas station or electric vehicle charger.
• Carry out installation, disassembly, and startup of tank equipment, payment terminals, payment systems, and other equipment at a gas station or electric vehicle charging station.
• Repair traffic-damaged equipment
• Continuously inform customers and colleagues about the status of the work you are performing
• Ensure that all work is done safely, both for yourself and your surroundings
• Be part of the company's on-call list to handle service outside normal working hours

We are looking for

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a high school education and experience in electronics and/or mechanics.

With your good computer skills, knowledge of troubleshooting and software management, you can find solutions to any issues without major problems.

Since the job involves a lot of travel within the country, a B driver's license is a requirement. Overnight stays may occur in connection with installations and larger projects.

If you also have an education in electricity (e.g. BB1), it is highly meritorious.

In the role of Service Technician, you are the person who is on-site with the customer to solve problems, and you are thus the company's face in the field.

Therefore, we see that you have a strong customer focus and an ambition to always provide the best quality service.

Only requirement is a B driver's license.
