We are looking for a skilled dental nurse with professional pride, empathy, and a pleasant demeanor.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

We work in a positive spirit where teamwork and the development of the business are natural elements. We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work.

Folktandvården Styrsö has 3 treatment rooms. Here, 2 dentists, 1 dental hygienist, and 2 dental nurses work. In total, we are 6 employees.

Collaboration with our clinic in Askim may also occur.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or adaptation treatments and outreach in nursing homes.
• Work in sterilization and reception

We are a VFU clinic and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervision/assistance of students may also be part of the position.

Competence Requirements and Profile

• Qualified dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for April 2 and 3.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
