We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and excellent customer care

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Falköping/Stenstorp, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your entire skill set while the position also requires creativity, empathy, teamwork, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting during examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception

Currently, the position mainly involves assistance, but this may change over time.

The clinic has two locations in Falköping and Stenstorp. In Falköping, there are 16 treatment rooms, and in Stenstorp, there are 4 treatment rooms. Employment may involve working at both clinics.

At the Falköping clinic, we also have our VFU clinic that hosts dental and dental hygiene students for 30 weeks a year. We also continuously accept dental nurse students during their LIA 1, 2, or 3 throughout the year. The clinic is co-located with the specialist clinic for Orthodontics.

Qualifications and profile

• Qualified dental nurse with an approved education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to provide a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select applicants and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for the end of weeks 13 and 14.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
