Räddningstjänsten Syd is the fire service for the municipalities of Burlöv, Eslöv, Kävlinge, Lund, and Malmö. The rescue center is responsible for alerting and overall management of rescue operations in 21 of Skåne's 33 municipalities. Inside the rescue center, on-duty officers, alarm and command officers, and alarm and command operators work together to support ongoing rescue operations and manage resources in the area. One-third of all alarms are automatic alarms, making the automatic alarm group part of the rescue center's function. Your role as an alarm systems administrator will be to work preventively in relation to the alerting automatic alarm operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an alarm systems administrator, you will work with another colleague and actively engage with both new and existing automatic alarm systems. The work includes, among other things, the commissioning of new automatic alarm systems and follow-up on alarms that have occurred.
The position involves contact with several different collaboration partners, including installers, property owners, SOS, and other fire services.
You will also work together with other colleagues at the rescue center and the rest of the organization, such as our firefighters, team leaders, and incident commanders.
The work is varied, ranging from preventive work to training and administration. Administrative tasks are performed in the form of billing, developing operational support for various objects, updating, and maintaining information in operational systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this position, we are looking for someone with a high school diploma and documented work experience in a technical field, as well as experience in collaboration or customer contact. You need to have an interest and some knowledge of municipal fire services. You also have documented work experience in system management and the ability to independently structure and plan your tasks. You are accustomed to independently solving tasks but are comfortable asking colleagues for help and collaborating when necessary.
You have good computer skills and strong communication skills in both spoken and written form.
You are self-driven and have a good ability to collaborate with others, both in a group and independently.
You have an excellent ability to structure and plan your work.
You have a valid driver's license (B).
It is an advantage if you have experience working with automatic alarm systems and/or facility management, knowledge and experience in fire protection work, or knowledge of municipal fire services, for example, through working in the fire service.

The position is primarily located in Hyllie, Malmö.
The position is security classified.
There may be opportunities for operational duty.
The position involves daytime work, Monday to Friday, but may occasionally require work during inconvenient hours.
