The Production Department is the largest department of the Swedish Pensions Agency with approximately 1000 employees and is located in 8 locations from Luleå in the north to Halmstad in the south. The tasks of the Production Department are to ensure processing and manage payments for Sweden's pensioners and pension savers. The assignment also includes ensuring that incorrect payments are not made and combating benefit fraud.

The Production Department is undergoing a major transformation journey where we want to strengthen our employees and our organization to better meet our customers where they are.

We are now looking for a temporary group manager in Karlstad.

About the job

Together with the other group managers, you will have overall responsibility for the operations within the unit and be part of a management team where you contribute to the tactical and strategic work. Based on a clear employer role, you have personnel, results, and follow-up responsibility for about 25 employees in Karlstad within your area of responsibility, housing supplement, and lead the operational work. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring that the operations are conducted with high quality, service, efficiency, and cost awareness. Most of our meetings are held digitally, but physical meetings also take place, which means that travel is required in the position. You will lead change and clearly communicate the vision, goals, and values to your employees.

As a manager at the Swedish Pensions Agency, you are also responsible for driving an active work environment and health effort and contributing to creating a developing workplace. Furthermore, you are responsible for creating conditions through dialogue for employees to be able and willing to take responsibility for their assignments, their goals, and their competence development. Your profile

You have previous leadership experience from public operations with a strong customer focus and enjoy working with high-set goals.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have an academic degree that the employer considers relevant. You also have experience and talent for driving change and development work in an operation with the customer in focus. It is advantageous if you have experience with the housing supplement benefit and if you have experience leading in a process-driven operation with large case flows.

Your leadership style also promotes a good and sustainable work environment. As a person, you are attentive, engaging, and self-driven in your work and proactive as you see what needs to be done. Since the position involves work in a management team, collaboration, and work with other departments within the agency, it is important that you have very good collaboration skills.
