Hillerstorpsskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 200 students in grades K-6 and about 100 students in grades 7-9.

The teachers are divided into working teams. There is ongoing collaboration between the different staff categories. Staff meet regularly for joint conferences for K-9. Thanks to the proximity to each other and shared staff rooms, there are good opportunities for conversations and contacts across the old grade boundaries, as well as short decision-making paths and closeness between employees and management. An important resource for the operation is the student health team consisting of a counselor, principal, school nurse, special educator, and study and career counselor.

Hillerstorpsskolan has been quality certified through Qualis for the school year 2022/2023, which means that:

  • The school has a well-functioning organization and good decision-making processes. The working teams have full responsibility for students' learning and knowledge development. Leadership is clear and strategic at all levels through a shared understanding of the school's mission and well-functioning information.
