Textile Property Manager, 100%

As a textile property manager, you will belong to the Collections & Cultural History department and manage Jamtli's textile props collection. You will be part of a smaller team working across the entire organization in its extensive event operations. We are looking for someone who is efficient and can prioritize tasks while completing them within given time frames.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include the care and maintenance of environmental textiles and costumes, fitting sessions for temporarily hired actors and Jamtli staff, alteration sewing, new production of historical costumes, as well as planning, digitization, and registration of textile props in the museum's collection database Sofie.

Who are you?

We prefer that you have formal qualifications in sewing and experience from museum or equivalent activities in theater or television. Higher education in sewing, costume history, and art history is an advantage.

To thrive in the tasks, you need to have an attentive and accommodating approach. Your good collaborative skills make it easy to communicate constructively with different types of people. You are flexible and patient. Great emphasis will be placed on social competence.
