Vårdcentral Avesta is one of the region's health centers and is located in the hospital area next to the beautiful river promenade. We have about 11,000 registered patients. About 65 people work with us in various professional categories such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, psychotherapists, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, midwives, and occupational therapists.

Job Responsibilities

What does a day look like as a medical secretary at Vårdcentral Avesta? Here you are offered the chance to work in an exciting and entertaining workplace where you can grow and develop as a medical secretary.

As a medical secretary with us, you are an important part of the work with our patients.

The work consists of medical documentation in the journal system Take Care; we will transition to Cosmic in the autumn of 2025. Mail handling, scanning, telephone service, and booking in various systems, as well as the introduction of new staff, are examples of job tasks. Reception work may occur. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

Additional Information

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with one of the following:

• Medical Secretary Program 120 credits.
• Healthcare Administration Program 180 credits.
• Medical Secretary YH 400 credits or
• 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation education.

Meritorious:

• Experience with the journal system Take Care and/or Cosmic
