Euromaint offers qualified technical maintenance that meets customers' needs for well-functioning vehicle fleets. We have a network of workshops from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south. Many of Sweden's leading specialists in railway vehicle maintenance work with us. Euromaint has a turnover of approximately SEK 1,500 million and about 1,000 employees (2021). Your tasks

As a train technician with us, you play an important role in keeping Sweden's trains in top condition. You will:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs of locomotives and carriages according to instructions.
  • Report and document your work in our system.
  • Actively participate in improvement work for a more efficient and safer work environment.
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure that the trains are safe and operational.

Who are you?

We are looking for a technical problem solver with a genuine interest in mechanics and technology. You have:

  • High school education in vehicle technology, industry, or electrical engineering.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience working in a workshop environment.
  • Experience in repair and service of machines or vehicles.
  • Preferably knowledge in troubleshooting digital and electrical equipment.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

  • Forklift experience, electrical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.
  • Experience working as a car, boat, or aircraft mechanic.

About the position

  • Working hours: Shift work.
  • Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.
  • Health check, ID check, and background check will be conducted on the final candidate before employment.
