ABOUT THE ROLE

Suzuki Garphyttan is looking for motivated and engaged summer workers who want to contribute to keeping our production in Garphyttan running throughout the summer. Experience is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is your willingness to learn and develop.

We are looking for those who want to gain valuable practical experience in the industry, whether you have recently completed a technical high school education or are studying at university. For engineering students, this is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into a production environment and strengthen your future career.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are reaching out to those interested in working in a production environment. With a strong focus on safety, you are quick to learn new things and have the ability to quickly understand and follow routines. We prefer that you are an active person with good physical fitness and a strong interest in technology. We believe that you, as an applicant, are an engaged and driven individual who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively with others.

As an operator in production, you will work to safely produce wire with good quality, productivity, and delivery precision. You are responsible for always doing your best and collaborating with colleagues in line with our vision and values: Care, Dare, and Share. Furthermore, you take an active responsibility in workplace safety by following applicable safety instructions and regulations.

We see value in you having a B driver's license and access to your own car to easily reach us. It is also an advantage if you are a university student in a technical field and have an interest in returning as a summer worker for several summers.

Requirements:

• You can work full-time during weeks 18–33
• High school education
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
• Able to work shifts (all hours of the day)
• Good computer skills
• At least 18 years old

Preferred:

• Forklift license and experience in forklift operation
• Overhead crane license
• Student in a technical field
• Experience from process industry
• Experience from the construction sector

Working Hours

Between weeks 16-33, you will be employed as a summer worker full-time, distributed across shifts during all hours of the day.

Additional Information

Your employment as a summer worker begins with training that takes about 8-10 weeks, so it is important that you can start working between weeks 16-18 to receive the necessary training.

Before starting employment, a pre-employment screening and a drug test will be conducted at the company's health service. You must also be able to present an extract from the police criminal record.
