Troubleshooter for our production in Karlskoga

Your role

At our production unit for mechatronics assembly at Saab in Karlskoga, we work with soldering and assembly of electronics as well as precision mechanical components, for both subsystems and finished products, such as RBS70. With us, you will have the chance to work with high-tech products and develop in a world-leading company.

In the role of troubleshooter, your main tasks will involve troubleshooting, follow-up, and root cause analysis of errors that occur after testing. You will also be responsible for compiling test reports and evaluations. The work also includes testing of electronic components for our systems.

You will have close collaboration with our test engineers who build test programs and test equipment. Therefore, you will be an important link between production staff and test engineers. Your role also includes communication with our quality function, as well as maintenance of test equipment.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, quality-conscious, and has experience working according to instructions. To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to have good communication skills, be attentive, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You should also be comfortable reaching out and communicating with people within the organization.

You have good knowledge of electronics, experience working in teams, and a relevant education in data, electronics, engineering, or equivalent.

It is advantageous if you have experience in electronics production, schematic reading within electronics, measurement technology, troubleshooting, programming, and also Lean production.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
