Support Technician with a Focus on Windows

We are currently seeking service-oriented support technicians with a focus on Windows for one of our clients. This is a perfect opportunity for you who are looking for new challenges and are curious about the IT industry. Does this sound exciting? Read on!

What does your workday look like?

You will be part of a team where you and your colleagues provide IT support to internal users. As a support technician, you will constantly encounter new complex questions and cases. You will have access to a well-developed knowledge database where you can find answers to most questions, as well as coaches who will guide you. Since the knowledge database is extensive, your ability to work in a structured and consistent manner will be an important trait to succeed in the job. Of course, you will also receive thorough training during the first two weeks.

Examples of questions handled by support:

  • User and password management
  • Other account administration/permission administration (Active Directory)
  • MS Office questions (mainly MS Office 365)
  • Windows
  • VPN issues (business customers connecting their computers from home)

Who thrives here?

We are looking for someone with some form of IT education (at the high school level or YH/KY), preferably with a focus on technology and/or networks. We see that you have previous experience in a service profession where quality is a key word, and you should also be comfortable using the phone as a work tool. If you also have experience with remote control (either from previous jobs or helping a relative with some tech issues), we consider this a good merit. You enjoy working together in a team towards a common goal and see a long-term perspective in your employment. Since the users who call in are Swedish-speaking, the role also requires that you are fluent in Swedish. The important thing is not the number of university credits but your genuine interest in technology; as you will constantly be encountering new technical issues, it is important that you can easily absorb new information. Since you will be working in a larger IT environment, the team relies on processes being followed, knowledge databases being used consistently, and that everyone who calls in receives a professional and service-oriented response, regardless of when they call and who answers the call.
