Your Role

We are looking for someone who wants to combine a team leader role with a broad role as a system developer. In this role, you will manage the team's daily work, help maintain the overall structure, and communicate with other teams. You will combine this with working as a system developer in the team. You will act as a mentor for the team and work on applying and developing our processes. As a foundation, you will also contribute to the system development work.

The section is an integration-responsible operation that offers a unique opportunity to understand the entirety of how our complex flight system works. With us, you will work with long and advanced chains of aircraft functions in our simulators.

The work is broad and will vary from developing our components to troubleshooting in our versatile rigs. The work also involves contact and interesting exchanges with several other material groups within different parts of the organization.

You will belong to a team with strong internal cohesion and a strong service focus towards our internal customers and collaborating sections. We offer an unpretentious and relaxed culture where cheerful and pleasant communication is important. Together, we create progress as a team.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an engineering background or equivalent with a genuine interest in understanding complex systems. You may be an educated civil engineer in a relevant technical field, but other qualifications can also be qualifying. Additionally, you have several years of work experience in development and working with systems in a larger context. Otherwise, you match our technical profile. You have good knowledge of C/C++ and/or Python. It is an advantage if you have worked with any of GIT/JIRA/Jenkins. You can also communicate in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are curious and driven by understanding the whole and how things are connected. In your leadership, you are communicative and solution-oriented with a sense of order and structure.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
