Job Responsibilities

Are you technically skilled, service-oriented, and enjoy varied tasks? We are looking for an AV Technician who wants to be a key person in ensuring functioning AV solutions in classrooms and meeting rooms.

In this role, you will work with support, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV equipment. Additionally, tasks within janitorial services are included, such as mail and goods handling, service and maintenance of premises, procurement of consumables, moving furniture in connection with events, internal relocations and renovations, transportation, and systematic fire protection work.

If necessary, you will need to operate at both campus locations, Eskilstuna and Västerås.

Qualifications

For this position, you must have the following:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Driver's license B
• At least one year of experience working with AV technology
• Knowledge of contracts
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Confidence in speaking before larger groups
• Good social skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Good physical condition, as the job sometimes involves heavy lifting

Furthermore, your ability to understand and manage contracts is an important part of the role. You will collaborate with suppliers and ensure that all contracts are followed, which is crucial for maintaining a high standard of our services.

Desirable Qualifications

In this position, experience in configuring AV technology and programming skills, especially within systems like Cisco, Crestron control systems, and Yealink, is advantageous. It is also beneficial to have a background in assembly training or to be a trained electrician.

Having a personal interest or documented experience in AV technology with an understanding of various techniques and knowledge of the latest trends in the field is also a significant advantage.

Experience in project management or coordination of different suppliers during larger installations and works is also desirable.
