Knowledge Engineer

Are you interested in making data understandable and usable by both humans and machines? Do you have a strong affinity with language? As a Knowledge Engineer at Voyado, you will work with the human side of machine learning, providing context and structure to information that will be used to enhance our capabilities within Natural Language Processing (NLP) and NLP Search. As a member of our Data Enrichment team, you will have a direct impact on the online shopping experience for shoppers by making it easier to find relevant products.



Some examples of your daily work will be:

- Analyze content, product catalogs, and event logs to identify and curate product types, product properties, and their relations, as well as relevant search and identification terms and phrases for different shopping domains.

- Create and maintain the product ontology and knowledge graphs.

- Support the internal development and usage of ontology management tools.

- Manage ontology translation projects.

- Interaction and dialogue with our Sales and Expert Services teams to support both current and future customers.

Who you are
To thrive in this role, you are an analytic person who is solution- and detail-oriented with good communication skills. We are happy to see that you have a great interest in what you work with and are willing to develop within your professional role as our ontology and knowledge graphs expand. You are a natural team player and will be joining a well-structured and collaborative team!

You have some of the following skills and experiences:

- A couple of years of experience in working with information systems, linguistics, translation, or Computer Science.

- General programming experience.

- Speak and write business-level Swedish and English. Knowledge of Finnish or/and German languages is a plus.

Meritorious if you have experience with semantic standards such as OWL and RDF and ontology Management tools such as Web Protégé.
