We are now looking for an experienced butcher for a position with our client, a grocery store in Norrtälje that butchers and packs all its meat in-house – a craft that is becoming increasingly rare in the industry.

About the role

You will work in the store's butchery department, cutting, trimming, and packing meat that is then displayed in the manual meat counter. The store is proud of its meat section, and you will play a key role in maintaining high quality from the cutting block to the display.

Scope and working hours

• Start: Immediately

• Duration: Throughout the summer

• Schedule: Rotating schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in butchery, preferably in a retail or processing facility setting

• Has good knowledge of different cutting techniques and meat handling

• Works carefully and hygienically according to current food safety regulations (HACCP)

• Is self-motivated and accustomed to maintaining a good pace

• Can start immediately
