About the Position

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated head waiter for our restaurant Trattorian Sorellina in Uppsala. In the role of head waiter, you are the restaurant's face to the outside world and play a key role in creating a warm and professional atmosphere. You lead and inspire your team in the dining room and work closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure a top-class overall experience.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and distribute work in the dining room
• Be responsible for table bookings and guest reception
• Ensure that the service maintains the highest quality
• Introduce, coach, and develop staff
• Actively participate in service as needed
• Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant manager to create smooth workflows

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience as a head waiter or in a similar leadership role
• Has a natural sense of service, details, and guest experience
• Is a confident, engaged, and inspiring leader
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Is flexible, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

Other

The position is full-time with an initial probationary period of six months. Salary and start date are to be agreed upon. The position is located in Uppsala, and working hours vary between days, evenings, and weekends depending on the needs of the business. Trattorian Sorellina is a member of Visita and is covered by a collective agreement with HRF and Unionen.
