We are an established restaurant in Katrineholm that works with lunch service, catering, and food production. We place great importance on good food, structure in the kitchen, and good collaboration within the team.

We are now looking for an engaged kitchen assistant who wants to work with us.

Job Responsibilities

As a kitchen assistant, you have an important supportive role in the kitchen and contribute to ensuring that the work flows smoothly and hygienically. The tasks include, among others:

• Preparation of ingredients (cutting, chopping, peeling, and rinsing raw materials)
• Assisting with simpler cooking and serving
• Assembly and simple plating of dishes
• Handling kitchen equipment
• Washing dishes, cleaning, and sanitizing the kitchen and work surfaces
• Inventory management and receiving goods
• Ensuring good hygiene and order according to applicable food regulations

The work can sometimes be stressful and requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and clear communication with others in the kitchen team.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in kitchen work
• Is responsible, meticulous, and stress-resistant
• Enjoys working in a team
• Has a good work ethic and is punctual
• Has experience in kitchen work (meritorious but not a requirement)
