Aneby parish's geographical area coincides with Aneby municipality in the Småland highlands. The parish has nine churches with cemeteries within a radius of five miles. The cemetery management has 8 employees during the summer season and has a good collaboration and support from the parish's common functions. The management is responsible for burial activities as well as the development and maintenance of our cemeteries.

We are a great team looking for reinforcement during the summer season. Work with us is characterized by responsibility, cooperation, and communication. We work together to create beautiful and safe environments in our cemeteries.

We are looking for someone who has good physical fitness and social skills. You are comfortable meeting people in both joy and sorrow. You are confident working with machines such as ride-on mowers, string trimmers, and leaf blowers, you can distinguish between weeds and flowers, enjoy being outdoors in all weather, and take responsibility for your tasks.

Requirements

• Some form of green space education or equivalent practical experience in park and cemetery work
• Interest in green space maintenance
• Driving license B with manual transmission

Desirable experience

• BE driving license

Knowledge

• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Personal abilities

You are service-oriented and have very good collaborative skills. You are persistent, flexible, and meticulous. You have the ability to take initiative and be self-sufficient. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Job description

• Cemetery work, lawn mowing, trimming, hedge trimming, and weeding
• Maintenance of summer flowers and perennials
• Maintenance of the cemetery's technical equipment, painting, and carpentry, etc.
• Assistance during funerals such as coffin carrying
• The work requires respect for the church's internal and external environments
• Participate in staff meetings and training
