The Väderöarna is a unique destination located in Sweden's westernmost archipelago. Guests from all over the world are attracted here, primarily from Sweden and Norway. About 8 nautical miles west of Fjällbacka lies Storö, where Väderöarna's inn operates hotel and restaurant services year-round. You can reach the inn using our 12-meter-long catamarans, which transport up to 12 passengers per boat.

We are now looking for employees with at least a Class VIII ship's officer certificate and a Class VIII engineering officer certificate, or equivalent, who want to take on a varied job in Sweden's most beautiful archipelago. During the summer, our boats operate shuttle traffic between Fjällbacka, Hamburgsund, and Storö, which means a great responsibility for you as a boat driver to maneuver and navigate the boats in a highly trafficked area. We are looking for employees who are not afraid to pitch in where needed, as we value good cooperation among all colleagues at Väderöarna.

The job includes:

• Boat driving - transporting guests to and from our inn on Storö.
• Transporting laundry and waste containers as well as food deliveries to and from the inn based in Hamburgsund.
• Ongoing maintenance and checks of the boats and engines.
• Cleaning and tidying on board the boats.
• Service work in the form of serving and other assistance at the inn may also occur.

The positions are primarily seasonal, but extensions may be possible. Positions are filled continuously. We look forward to your application!

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in service professions.
• Engineer training and experience with engines.
• Familiarity with maintenance and service on boats.
