About the Position

As a service technician at Boon Edam, you will be extensively involved in troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of the company's products. You will work with both mechanical and electronic systems, identify and resolve issues, and ensure that each product meets the company's high-quality standards before it reaches the customer. The role also involves close collaboration with service coordinators to plan and coordinate tasks, as well as daily contact with end customers to provide support, advice, and ensure that service and repairs are carried out in a professional and customer-friendly manner. You will be a key person in maintaining the customer's good reputation for quality, reliability, and technical expertise.

We are looking for someone who

• Has good skills in mechanics, assembly, electrical work, and service.
• Is solution-oriented and technically interested.
• Has experience in reading schematics/troubleshooting in low voltage or similar.
• Experience in mechanics or control systems is a plus.
• Has good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Is willing to travel and stay overnight for work (approximately 30 days/year).
• Has good social skills and holds a B driver's license.

You are driven by a varied job with freedom under responsibility, are fearless, proactive, and analytical, and can make independent decisions. At the same time, you naturally collaborate with colleagues and are happy to share information, even if you often work independently.

Great importance is placed on basic interest and drive. If you have a relevant background but lack certain experience, the position may still be right for you.

Additional Information

At Boon Edam, you will receive a company car, phone, and computer to perform your work in the best way possible. Since the products are located at high-security sites, drug tests and background checks are conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act. The position starts by agreement, is based in Stockholm, and salary is negotiable.
