About the Role

Västanhede will be opening a depot in Eskilstuna in the fall of 2025, from which driving assignments in service traffic on behalf of Sörmlandstrafiken will be conducted. We are looking for a driven and transport-interested traffic manager with personnel responsibility for approximately 60-80 employees and about 40 vehicles. We will perform driving assignments for Sörmlandstrafiken, our client. The role includes ensuring that we meet our commitments under the applicable traffic agreement, scheduling for drivers within given frameworks, time reporting, any employee matters (with support from HR if needed), and ensuring that vehicles are booked for service, inspections, etc. You will work closely with Västanhede's other operations managers in Mälardalen and workshops.

Personal Qualities and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should enjoy a workday with great variety, from administrative tasks to managing vehicles. You have a pedagogical and professional approach in your dialogue with both employees and traffic authorities. You are proactive and have the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions.

You are structured, responsible, goal-oriented, and see opportunities in changes. You can handle a fluctuating workload and take responsibility for the operation's functionality. Although the position primarily involves office hours, working hours may vary depending on the needs of the operation.

You who are applying have a background in transport and logistics, and it is an advantage if you have experience in service traffic and a taxi license. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
