Your role

We are now looking for a colleague for our customs and transport department responsible for shipping materials to our customers. In this role, you will take significant responsibility for your own shipments and will work with the entire transport chain, from packing and document handling to booking and follow-up of shipments. The role also involves close collaboration with both internal departments and external carriers, giving you the opportunity to build a broad network of contacts.

The role offers a wide variety of tasks, which may include:

• Packing goods
• Creating transport documents
• Booking transports
• Handling hazardous goods, booking and documentation
• Customs handling
• Various reports to authorities
• Transport follow-up
• Export permits, follow-up and new registration
• Some forklift driving

You will be part of the warehouse & logistics department, which handles everything from incoming materials to storage, picking, packing, and booking outgoing goods. Your future team within the customs and transport department consists of four engaged colleagues who support each other and work together to achieve common goals.

You are a proactive person who takes initiative and gathers the information you need to effectively plan your workday. This is a role for you who enjoys both practical and administrative work, and we believe that with a structured work style, you ensure order and avoid stressful situations, both for yourself and for those around you. Even when the pace is high and many demand your attention, you remain calm and find ways to create structure.

As a true team player, you contribute to a positive work environment and are not afraid to pitch in when needed - you enjoy a role that includes both administrative and practical work.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Experience with Saab's operations
• Basic IFS knowledge
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have a background in logistics & have basic knowledge of the Training & Simulations product range.
