About the Job

A-Staffing manages the recruitment on behalf of Motorkompaniet, which will then hire the final candidate. Full-time work during daytime in the workshop in Katrineholm. The need is permanent and starts with a probationary period.

Job Description

We are looking for a passenger car technician to work with service, troubleshooting, updates, handling insurance matters, and repairs of customers' cars, including electric and hybrid vehicles. The workshop at Motorkompaniet is an authorized KIA workshop, but they assist customers with all car brands.

Education and Certificates

Knowledge of modern vehicle technology, acquired through extensive experience as an automotive mechanic, is more important than your formal education. You likely completed the automotive program at the beginning of your career. If you are a certified high-voltage technician (qualified in electric vehicles) and have refrigeration training, category V, this is highly desirable and meritorious.

Experience

At least ten years of experience as a passenger car technician/mechanic and familiarity with diagnostic tools are required. Experience working with cooling systems in cars, including installation, service, and repair of climate control systems and air conditioning, is meritorious. Likewise, experience in troubleshooting, service, and safety procedures when working with electric vehicles is also meritorious.

The job requires the ability to handle stress and maintain high service levels with a positive attitude. You have a good work ethic, support colleagues, and contribute to the team's success.
