The warehouse's primary mission is to ensure the delivery reliability of healthcare products to Region Dalarna's operations through the operation of the Regional Warehouse and Local Warehouses. This is done through control and management of the warehouse's assortment to follow the needs of the operations over time. The operations are under construction, with the region's warehouse capacity being gradually increased. By 2025, the available warehouse area will be approximately 2500 square meters, which will eventually be expanded to about 7000 square meters. The Regional Warehouse is part of Regionservice's area Länsservice, which also includes External Logistics, Security, Customer Service, and the region's laundry service.

Unit goals:

• Right products in stock with timely delivery
• Increased service level on available items for the operations
• Increased robustness and safer as well as more flexible supply of consumables

The warehouse operations are under construction, and the role will help influence its future and development. Regionservice's mission is to lead, develop, execute, and streamline service functions for healthcare and other operations within and in collaboration with Region Dalarna. We do this in areas such as property management, food and meal services, logistics, cleaning, and patient-related services. We create conditions for all operations within Region Dalarna to conduct their activities effectively, which is a mission we take very seriously! Regionservice has approximately 550 employees and generates about 400 million SEK in revenue. The operations are quality certified according to ISO 9001 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14001. We are an administration that is in constant development as we need to quickly adapt to the needs of the operations.

Job Responsibilities

About the position:

As a warehouse and logistics employee with us, you will play an important role in ensuring that our items are handled efficiently and with the highest quality. You will work both independently and in teams where you have the opportunity to contribute to optimizing our flows and ensuring that deliveries are made on time. For the role of warehouse worker at the Regional Warehouse, we are looking for someone who is responsible and cooperative, enjoys interacting with people, and can build good relationships with internal customers and operations. You should also be able to work in a structured and methodical way.

Your job responsibilities in brief:

• Handling incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Warehouse management, including picking, kitting, and packing
• Loading and unloading goods
• Using forklifts and other warehouse tools
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the warehouse

Additional Information

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school education or alternatively relevant work experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Work experience in the logistics field, such as warehousing or production, or alternatively deemed equivalent by the employer
• Knowledge of working in administrative systems, including Microsoft Office
• Class B driver's license, some travel may occur in the position

Meritorious:

• Post-secondary education in logistics or purchasing, such as vocational training
