Aviagen SweChick AB is part of the Aviagen Group, which is a world leader in breeding stock for broiler chickens. From our base in Skåne, we breed and sell breeding chickens to customers in Sweden and the Nordic countries.

We provide our customers with traditionally white-feathered breeding chickens as well as slow-growing or brown-feathered chickens. The responsibilities of the position include following the company's policies and values, as well as being responsible for all processes within production and acting to ensure these:

Due to the risk of infection, you cannot own or have regular contact with birds, pigs, or reptiles.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work 60% in our hatchery starting no earlier than April 1, 2025, until April 1, 2026 (with possible extension) for one of our employees on parental leave.

Job Responsibilities

· To perform and take responsibility for all general tasks that occur in the hatchery's operations according to the established schedule.

· Ability to work in a team.

· Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and seek help and knowledge.

· Basic knowledge of Swedish and English.

· Basic computer skills

· A sense of animal welfare and hygiene.

· Interest in animals
