JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a team member who wants to work in cleaning services with us at MTR.

The position involves contributing to and ensuring effective and satisfactory cleaning in various public transport environments in Stockholm. Public transport operates most hours of the day, which means early mornings. The positions also involve working every other weekend.

We are responsible for various forms of cleaning, either within station environments, i.e., customer-facing environments.

We operate across all local lines, but you will be employed by MTR Facility Management.

Common tasks in station cleaning include:

• General cleaning
• Emptying waste bins
• Spot cleaning of walls
• Sanitizing minor graffiti and stickers
• You will also contribute to reporting deviations, graffiti, maintenance needs, and other vandalism through digital tools.

General Employment Information:

The employment begins with a mandatory full-time training that lasts about 1 week.

Salary: The monthly salary for this position is 22,600 - 27,300 SEK + OB, depending on experience.

Working hours: Only daytime 06:00-14:00. Work every other weekend is included.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in the role of Cleaner, you are very meticulous, responsible, and self-driven. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and take your own initiatives to achieve your goals. You have an understanding of safety-classified work and regulations. The work will largely be performed at our stations, so you need to feel comfortable working in customer-facing environments independently according to written instructions.

Additionally, you have:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in cleaning services
• Category B driving license

It is an advantage if you have:

• Professional certificate from SRY Service Industry Board and PRYL - Project Professional Certificate Cleaner
• Training INSTA 800
• Experience in cleaning services in public environments, on vehicles, or in depots
• Experience in graffiti removal
