About the unit:

FMLOG Supply procures, maintains, and decommissions supplies for the Armed Forces. Logistics must be efficient and ensure high availability for all types of supplies, which means that inventory management, planning, transportation, material handling, and customer support are essential parts of our work. The Armed Forces' Stores are part of FMLOG Supply and create value for the Armed Forces by receiving and delivering materials on time, at the right cost, and with the right quality. Through knowledge of how materials should be received, stored, maintained, delivered, and decommissioned, we contribute to making the Armed Forces' operations possible. Our attitudes and working methods are characterized by mutual trust to deliver defense logistics when and where it is needed. The stores operate nationwide and contain a wide range of FM materials, and we work in several flows.

Main responsibilities:

As warehouse personnel, you are responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying, and delivering the Armed Forces' materials in the agreed quantity and quality. This also includes some administrative work. Attention to detail and organizational skills are important traits to possess. You will participate in the operations, and together with colleagues, ensure that laws and regulations are followed. A technical interest and knowledge will make your day at work easier.

You will work both in a team and independently. The position may also involve travel and service at other locations, either during the day or for longer periods. You need to be flexible, take significant personal responsibility, and enjoy meeting different people and facing various tasks of varying technical difficulties, in different locations, both indoors and sometimes outdoors. You should feel every day that you are working at the forefront of our organization.

Qualifications:

  • At least completed secondary education
  • You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills
  • At least a B driver's license, manual transmission
  • Forklift driver's license

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of the systems LIFT, PRIO, Fenix/UEF
  • C/CE driver's license
  • Knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations and materials

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who finds it easy to communicate with others, build networks, and express their opinions constructively. You are stimulated by new challenges, take initiative, and personal responsibility. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty.

You are flexible and can handle temporary peaks in workload without becoming stressed. You are meticulous, unpretentious, and a pronounced team player with good experience in collaborating with others. We are looking for someone with an interest and knowledge in technology and organizational skills.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Other:
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
Work location Sala.
