We are currently looking for a pedagogical babysitter for a family in Lidingö (Käppala) in Stockholm.

About us

NPF Babysitter offers childcare to families with children with NPF.

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric functional impairment, and the most common impairments are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Speech impairment. Our goal is to help as many as possible with special needs, and therefore you will undergo internal training in NPF before you start your first assignment. At NPF Babysitter, you will have a developing, joyful, and incredibly rewarding part-time job.

The assignment:

Number of children and age: One child, 4.5 years old.

Days and times: 2-3 times a month, about 5 hours per shift. Mainly weekends.

Desired start date: Immediately

Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.

Location: Lidingö (Käppala) in Stockholm.

We are looking for someone who:

Has some experience with children, preferably children with Autism

Has experience in clear pedagogical methods & low-arousal responses

Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children

Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job

Is pedagogical, secure, and calm

Can work flexibly both evenings and weekends

Is comfortable speaking English as the family is bilingual

Picking up from preschool/school

Finding activities inside and outside the home

Providing support during outings

Preparing simple meals

Bedtime routines
