We are looking for a caring and engaged nanny for a family in Östermalm with two children, aged 4 and 2 years. This role involves a gradual transition where the nanny will eventually take over from the family's current nanny, who will finish her education in December 2025.

About the role:

The position starts with part-time work and transitions to a more comprehensive role after December 2025.

Responsibilities until December 2025:

• Picking up the children from preschool at 3 PM approximately 2 days a week (the days vary from week to week).
• After pickup: Play and activities with the children – either outdoors, at a museum, or at home – until around 5–5:15 PM, when the parents come home.
• Opportunity for extra hours during evenings or weekends if needed (voluntary).
• During April and May 2025, the family's current nanny will be on internship, and the need for pickups will increase to 4–5 days a week. Since this is a new person for the children, a safe and gradual introduction will take place, meaning it is not a requirement to be available every day right away.

Responsibilities after December 2025:

After the new year, the nanny will take over the responsibility for pickups and daily routines long-term (4/5 days a week).

We are looking for a nanny who:

• Is creative, playful, and fun – particularly important for one of the children who can sometimes be a bit shy.
• Enjoys coming up with activities for the children, such as meeting other kids, exploring new environments, trying different activities, and being outdoors.
• Is punctual and meticulous – the family has clear routines and works quite a bit themselves, making it important to respect schedules and planning.

Requirements:

• Fluent Swedish is a requirement.
• Experience in childcare or similar work is an advantage.
