We have recently invested in new machinery for the production of carrier bags and therefore wish to expand our workforce with more skilled machine setters. In the recruitment process, we are assisted by Wikan Personal.

Your Responsibilities

As a machine setter, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating the machines according to instructions. Tasks include machine handling, material replenishment, machine settings, and changeovers. You will perform quality checks and ensure that production complies with safety regulations.

Your responsibilities also include reporting any deviations and ensuring that production runs according to plan. You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production and delivery of products. You will continuously participate in change and improvement work to optimize production.

Your Background/Attributes

For the position of machine setter, we are looking for someone who has studied a practical/technical program such as industrial, electrical, or automotive programs and/or has previous experience in manufacturing. We seek someone who is hardworking, focused, and meticulous in how they perform their tasks, as there are high demands for accuracy and documentation skills.

Requirements for the Position:

• Approved high school education
• Mechanical/technical education or comparable experience
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Driver's license B and access to a car

We also see that you have a technical interest and a good technical understanding. As a person, you are responsible and quality-conscious. You find it easy to collaborate with others and are happy to lend a helping hand when needed. Furthermore, you have a willingness to learn and develop and are flexible and unpretentious in your work.

A forklift license is an advantage but not a requirement.

The position is located at Bong in Kristianstad. Initially, the work will be during the day, but will later transition to shift work. The assignment is a so-called hire-recruitment, where you will be employed by Wikan Personal for the first six months and then expected to transition to Bong's employment.
