The municipal health and medical care is responsible for rehabilitation, prescription of assistive devices, as well as care and medical interventions for individuals in special accommodations, within regular housing/home care, as well as short-term stays and daily activities. Approximately 45 people work within health and medical care. As an employee in the Social Administration/Rehabilitation Unit, you will work closely with nursing responsible nurses and other team members. We strive to work person-centered and see the patient's participation and own resources as important assets. We continuously develop team collaboration both internally and externally in various ways and are now looking for someone who wants to make a difference for patients and citizens in the municipality.

Your tasks
Depending on your background and interests, you will either work as part of our home care team for individuals in regular housing and on short-term stays, or your main areas of work will be regular housing and special accommodations within elderly care.
If you work in the home care team, your role will be to lead and coordinate the team's efforts to achieve set goals.
As a licensed physiotherapist, you will work with functional and activity assessments for individuals with rehabilitation needs. You will plan and initiate treatment, training, and assistive device trials based on individuals' varying needs and conditions for an independent life in their home environment. Follow-ups are an important part of this work.
In your job with us, you will have a guiding role by supporting the patient, relatives, and staff in rehabilitative working methods. Targeted educational or instructional interventions for care staff regarding rehabilitation issues or patient transfers may also occur.

We are looking for
Licensed physiotherapist. If you have experience in municipal rehabilitation in any form or other previous experience in the field, it is an advantage. The nature of the work requires you to have the ability to handle multiple ongoing cases, work independently, and be able to adapt quickly on your own initiative. You take responsibility and actively contribute to developing team collaboration within your areas of responsibility.

Personal qualities such as the ability to instill trust and create security for those you meet are important. You need to be structured, attentive, and empathetic, as well as have an easy time collaborating even outside your regular area of responsibility.
