Operations Optimizer at Kungsbacka Municipality

Do you want to be an active part of driving Kungsbacka Municipality's operational optimization and energy efficiency? We are establishing a new role as an operations optimizer and are now looking for two individuals.

The Role of Operations Optimizer with Us

As part of our team, you will be welcomed by a great group of colleagues with various roles within the administration. You will closely collaborate with energy engineers, property managers, technical managers, and operations technicians, reporting to our energy controller. In energy optimization matters, you will also have a partner in the responsible energy engineer in the team, as well as technical managers and operations technicians in our operational units. You are responsible for ensuring stable and cost-effective operation of the municipality's owned buildings' technical systems, such as heating, ventilation, etc. As an operations optimizer with us, you will have great opportunities to improve and elevate the level of our property portfolio from an operational perspective.

You will work with:

Operational monitoring and digital rounds via our overarching control system.
Initiating and participating in troubleshooting technical systems, sometimes on-site in our buildings.
Proposing and implementing optimization measures.
Initiating measurement and adjustment of flows and temperatures.
Managing alarms and fault reports in collaboration with operations technicians, conducting troubleshooting, and initiating corrective actions.
Communication with suppliers and tenants.
Ordering minor works and follow-up.
Monitoring and commenting on deviations in energy and water consumption.
Participation in work with authority inspections and energy follow-ups.

Your Profile

As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented with a high service mindset, and have the ability to plan and prioritize your workday. You are a true problem solver, confident in yourself, and have the ability to instill trust. Furthermore, you are driven and appreciate being part of a team that works together towards common goals. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

has several years of practical experience as an operations engineer/operations technician or equivalent experience deemed comparable.
has a university degree in operations, energy, and ventilation.
has good computer skills and experience with relevant technical systems.
has basic experience with building energy and ventilation systems.
has experience working in an overarching control system.

It is meritorious to have:

experience in programming and handling DUC/PLC.
