Quant is expanding in Figeholm and is looking for a dedicated and proactive Electrician/Automation Technician.

At Quant in Figeholm, we have about 20 employees in our maintenance department. We perform emergency and preventive maintenance for our customer Hitachi Energy and also work to help the customer maintain and optimize machine performance at their facilities. We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of a wonderful and goal-oriented team!

Your role as an Electrician/Automation Technician

The role involves working with preventive and corrective maintenance in all electrical areas from low to high voltage, from pneumatics/hydraulics to troubleshooting in PLC. You will also work on improvement projects and facility changes through regular contact with operators and production management at our customer. With us, you will primarily work daytime, but there will also be weekend and afternoon shifts with on-call duty. We work in pairs, one mechanic and one electrician, to support each other.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical/automation and experience in the field
• Experience in the process industry
• Knowledge of machine installation
• Experience as a service/automation electrician
• Lift, truck, overhead crane certification and fall protection training
• Preferably experience in mechanical assembly
• Electrical certification is a plus
