About the Position

We are currently seeking a nurse to join our nursing team. Our ambition is to provide the best conditions for our residents, which requires teamwork where each unique competence contributes. Therefore, you will have close collaboration with both nursing assistants and occupational therapists. Thanks to sharing a building with Tybble Health Center, we also have effective cooperation with doctors and physiotherapists. In the evenings and weekends, we collaborate in an evening and weekend organization, which means you will move between different residences. As a nurse, you will start from Rostahemmet. This collaboration also creates a collegial network and opens doors for professional development.

Examples of Job Responsibilities:

work according to health and medical care processes
assess needs based on the nursing process, establish a nursing diagnosis, set goals, plan, implement, and evaluate the intervention
initiate contact with other healthcare providers as needed
plan, organize, and lead nursing work
be responsible for clinical assessments, perform medical interventions, and contact higher medical competence if necessary
ensure collaboration with other professionals, partners, and relatives
supervise nursing staff

About the Workplace

Jeremiasgården is a nature-oriented special accommodation for the elderly located next to Tybble Park. We share a building with both Tybble Health Center and a pharmacy. We have 58 apartments distributed across seven departments, three of which are dementia-oriented and four somatic. All departments also have cohabitation apartments.

Qualifications

As a nurse, you are secure, stable, and self-aware. You distinguish between personal and professional matters. You take responsibility for your tasks and structure your approach independently. You work well with others and can adapt your behavior to the situation. You listen and communicate with others in a clear, attentive, and smooth manner. As a nurse, you easily adapt to changing circumstances. You remain composed in stressful situations and focus on the right things. You have the ability to understand someone else's perspective without taking on their feelings. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language well enough to communicate with individuals, relatives, and other staff. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.

Requirements:

licensed nurse
driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

documented experience as a nurse within municipal health and medical care
advanced training in geriatrics or other equivalent qualifications deemed suitable by the employer (60 higher education credits)
