Main Mission

The Community Mission aims to increase residents' quality of life and their ability to influence their living conditions. Together, the activities of the main mission create conditions for good health, an attractive, accessible, and vibrant urban environment, countryside and nature, a safe and healthy indoor and outdoor environment, a rich offering of culture, sports, leisure, and good infrastructure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a project manager within the Community Mission, you will be employed in the Urban Environment Unit and be part of the unit's project group. The project group's mission is to lead and coordinate community building projects, infrastructure projects, as well as new and renovation of municipal facilities. This means that the projects involve everything from the construction of new playgrounds, large complex water and sewage projects, or new and renovation of streets and bike paths.

Your tasks consist of feasibility studies, detailed design, and contracts where you, as the project manager, lead the project forward with a focus on keeping to the schedule, quality, and budget. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and residents.

The project group consists of a project coordinator and five project managers. In addition to the project group, the Urban Environment Unit includes a street and traffic group and a park and landscape group, totaling 18 employees. We work closely together within the unit, and our areas of responsibility often go hand in hand, where our common goal is always to provide a safe, pleasant, and usable public space for our residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has worked as a project manager or otherwise driven a group towards common goals. You preferably have experience in construction projects and a good insight into how complex such projects can be. You have a technical education in civil engineering, construction, or other equivalent knowledge. You have a structured approach with a focus on time, cost, and quality. You are used to making decisions and prioritizing, and you have a positive and unpretentious attitude and interest in developing both yourself and your colleagues.
