We work to make it easier to live, grow, and meet with the vision - Timrå, a strong municipality in a growing region!
Description
We are primarily looking for someone who wants to work continuously on a schedule throughout the entire holiday period.
For those who work continuously for at least 8 weeks during the holiday period, there is an opportunity to receive a summer bonus.
We see it as an advantage if you can start your training as soon as possible so that you have the opportunity to learn the basics of the job before summer. You will, of course, be paid during the training.
We are looking for substitutes for all our operations within elderly care, which includes home care and care homes.
Our operations consist of six home care groups and one night patrol, as well as four care homes.
Job Responsibilities
Home Care
In home care, you help people manage their daily lives in their own homes. The client's needs and approved services dictate your tasks. This can include everything from personal care such as hygiene and dressing, cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, to medical tasks such as medication handover, wound dressing, and insulin administration.
Some medical tasks require delegation, which you receive after passing a test by a nurse. To work in home care, medication delegation is a requirement. In several of our home care groups, a driver's license is also a requirement.
All visits in home care are planned by a planner, and when you arrive at work in the morning, you log in to a work phone to see your planned visits and tasks for the day. You will also be responsible for home visits in response to alarms from clients.
There are six home care groups where you work during the day, evening, and weekends. We also have a night patrol that performs visits at night to clients within home care.
Care Home
Working in a care home is, in many ways, similar to working in home care. Here, you also need to think of yourself as working in the client's home, and the client's needs and approved services dictate your tasks. Those living in a care home often have greater needs for support and assistance.
Here, you will organize the work together with your colleagues to ensure that everyone receives the help they need and that all tasks are completed during the day. You assist clients with personal care such as hygiene and dressing, meal preparation and feeding, cleaning, and medical tasks such as medication handover and insulin administration. Some medical tasks require delegation, which you receive after passing a test by a nurse.
In the work at a care home, there are also tasks related to the maintenance of the department, which can include cleaning common areas, laundry, food and dish handling, and ordering food and laundry. You are also responsible for planning both large and small activities for the clients together with your colleagues.
Our care homes are staffed around the clock, which means that you as staff may work during the day, evening, weekends, and nights.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is responsible, attentive, and easy to collaborate with, has a good attitude, and shows consideration and respect towards clients, relatives, and colleagues.
Training as a nursing assistant, experience in elderly care, and a driver's license are advantageous.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement since the job requires verbal and written reporting in our journal system as well as communication with clients and colleagues in the team.
We place great importance on personal qualities.
