This position reports to the R&D Team Lead.

Your role and responsibilities

We manage ABB's oldest process control system in a project funded by the energy sector. Our mission is to maintain the product family so that it can be produced well into the future. Our team is experienced and works closely with customers and subcontractors to adapt the products to modern production. If you want to work with electronics in a structured work environment with varied tasks, this could be the role for you. Join our R&D office in Ängsgärdet with a group of engaged and skilled industrial engineers!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain documentation, drawings, and production materials
• Troubleshooting with production and testing as needed
• Component investigations to find suitable replacements for old components
• Maintenance and development of measurement systems for product testing
• Development of testing programs for functional testing
• Direct contact with the customer's technical and quality managers

Qualifications for the role

• We believe you have solid work experience in electronics
• Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics (logic circuits)
• Solution-oriented and proactive when the team or customer needs it
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience in simulation, troubleshooting, and/or repair of electronics is preferred
• Experience in electronic design and/or measurement technology is a plus
• Experience with Keysight VTE (VEE Test Executive) is a plus
