As a ranger at Dagab's warehouse/logistics center in Örebro, you ensure that groceries are delivered on time and with good quality to their stores across the country. Since it is very important that the stores receive the best service so that their shelves are never empty, it is crucial that the daily work is carried out with high efficiency and quality. The transport office is characterized by camaraderie and collaboration across functional boundaries where employees are expected to deliver first-class transport and logistics solutions for Dagab's customers. The challenges are many, and high demands are placed on timely deliveries, with the right temperature and with as low environmental impact as possible.
As you will be part of a large logistics flow with many actors and different challenges, it is especially important to keep time, follow safety and order regulations, and assist other departments when needed. You will work with goods in a chilled environment where it is about +4 degrees.
Job ResponsibilitiesIn the role of ranger at Dagab, the main job responsibilities are:
- Complete orders - With the help of a forklift, you consolidate load carriers and load Dagab's own vehicles.
In the long term, other tasks may also become relevant.
Working HoursIn this role, you work either only daytime or only evening
- Daytime: 07:00-16:00 from Monday to Friday
- Evening: 14:00-01:00 from Monday to Thursday
The position will be a fixed-term full-time employment.
Start and End of EmploymentThe start for the positions is from week 18 and continues until the end of August.
The position starts with thorough training for 2 weeks full-time. This is mandatory for everyone hired in the role and provides you with the conditions to learn and succeed in the role. Since this is a summer job, it is important that you can and want to work full-time throughout the entire period.

Requirements and QualitiesRequirements- You must be at least 18 years old
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
- Forklift license with category A
- Forklift license with category B
- Experience in forklift driving
- Work experience from warehousing, logistics, or similar
- Previous experience of physical work
- It is a plus if you have been or are active in any sport
You have a positive attitude and like to take responsibility, whether it is about respecting times, maintaining good quality, or achieving set goals. You are comfortable being followed up on your performance and motivated by receiving clear feedback on a job well done.
For you to thrive in the role, good physical condition is required, and you need to take care of your health as heavy lifting occurs. You also need to be self-driven and have the ability to see the bigger picture while being able to handle stress during high workloads.
Being good at collaboration is important as you work together with Dagab's various departments. Contributing to collaboration and a good atmosphere in the group is important, regardless of differing perspectives, cultures, backgrounds, and languages. You also need to enjoy working independently in the warehouse, as you move over large areas with limited social contacts while performing your tasks.
Other personal qualities are also emphasized.
SalarySalary: According to collective agreement and follows the warehouse and e-commerce agreement. The salary is GFL salary (GFL = your compensation is based on the average of all who work in the warehouse, which in this warehouse is a good compensation). Additional compensation for overtime and on-call work is provided in accordance with the collective agreement.
