Our Offer

Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, 4 emergency centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, child health care unit, 1177, and a general medicine training center.

We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

Job Description

With us, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with everything from infections and injuries to chronic diseases. You will receive acute cases, such as chest pain, breathing difficulties, or wound injuries, and refer to specialist care or hospital if necessary. We work with follow-up and treatment of patients with diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart failure, rheumatological diseases, and more. Collaboration is key, and we place great emphasis on good cooperation between different professions.

Work Group

You will work at our health center, which is part of Region Östergötland's primary care. We are a stable and well-functioning unit with a strong team that together creates safe and quality care for our patients. With us, there are both experienced colleagues and younger doctors in training, which provides a dynamic and educational work environment.

We work in teams where we have close collaboration between different professions. Every day we have joint check-ins where we discuss patient cases, exchange knowledge, and assist each other in assessments. We also have regular doctor meetings where we review medical guidelines, share experiences, and discuss improvement work.

We encourage open dialogue and support each other during high-pressure situations, creating a safe and positive work environment.

About You

Licensed physician. Experience in healthcare that is relevant is meritorious.

You have a medical degree or medical license. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the Cosmic journal system.

You should be able to collaborate and build relationships with others in the team. Having a good dialogue and communicating clearly with and around the patient is of great importance to create the best conditions for the patient.

You are professional and have good judgment. You want to work in a team, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
