About Us

The Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic Sörmland is a regional clinic operating at the three hospitals in the region: Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna, Nyköping Hospital, and Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm.

The Pediatric and Adolescent Department at Mälarsjukhuset cares for children aged 0-18 years with medical, surgical, and orthopedic diseases. We also treat children with ear and eye diseases. We work with the vision “Sörmland's children, safe in our hands” and strive for high competence among our staff while always focusing on the family's right to be involved in their child's care. Our regional clinic is Uppsala Academic Hospital, with which we have a good and close collaboration.

Mälarsjukhuset is located near forests and green areas while being close to the city center. With a travel time of about an hour by car or train to Stockholm, Eskilstuna is centrally located. Your Responsibilities

As a resident physician with us, you will perform tasks in the field of pediatrics, such as outpatient and inpatient work, as well as on-call duties throughout the clinic. Together with other staff members, you will participate in the development work at the clinic.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed physician with proficiency in Swedish at least at C1 level and previous experience in on-call work.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have good collaboration and initiative skills, be attentive, and have the ability to work in a structured manner. You enjoy working independently while also valuing teamwork. We place great importance on personal suitability.
