With us, you will play a central role in ensuring the operation and safety of our railway cars through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

About the role

As a Repair Technician, you will work both independently and in a team to ensure that our vehicles meet high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will actively participate in our improvement work and contribute your insights and suggestions. The work environment is characterized by order, safety, and collaboration.

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair railway cars according to established requirements and routines.
• Perform troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.
• Report deviations and manage checklists according to applicable standards.
• Ensure order and cleanliness in the workplace and contribute to a positive work climate.
• Participate in and contribute to the team's common goals and tasks.
• Document working hours and follow procedures for safety and quality work.
• Participate in renovations and modernization of cars.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education in industry or vehicle technology.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of vehicles or machinery.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Computer skills and a structured work style.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with railway cars.
• Knowledge of lean production.
• A strong technical interest and a desire to develop.

As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate and thrive in a changing environment where new challenges are seen as opportunities.

Practical information

The position may involve both daytime and shift work. We provide necessary internal training, and an approved medical health examination is required before employment. The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period.
