Meal Inspirators Wanted at Skellefteå Municipality

We are now looking for two meal inspirators focused on education and inspiration in the kitchen for our meal department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our team, your responsibilities will include serving approximately 150 lunch guests daily, as well as being responsible for breakfast and afternoon snacks. A major focus will be on mentoring and inspiring colleagues. You will also bake, test recipes, and develop new dishes and recipes. We strive for the kitchen and restaurant to maintain such a high standard that it not only meets our own expectations but also inspires colleagues in other kitchens within the meal department. A central part of the role is to contribute to the development of our new concept focused on learning and inspiration.

Working hours are daytime, Monday - Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for two experienced and driven chefs with a background in large-scale kitchens or the restaurant industry. You have education in restaurant management at the high school level or equivalent, or documented experience from large-scale kitchens or restaurants. You have good knowledge of ingredients and experience in cooking from scratch. An important part of the job is managing special diets. To work effectively with our systems and tools, you need to have good computer skills and be quick to learn new systems. Good knowledge of Swedish is also required to inspire and educate colleagues.

You set high goals for yourself and others and are committed to achieving good results. You are curious and keep yourself updated in your field by monitoring the environment. You enjoy collaborating, are flexible and unpretentious, and find solutions that benefit the entire team and common goals. Furthermore, you have a good ability to mentor and inspire colleagues at different levels and a pleasant way of treating people.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Support and Facilities Administration is tasked with coordinating and developing effective support so that the municipality's operations can focus on their various main assignments and provide more efficient service to the municipality's residents. We are responsible for the municipality's overall coordination and development of services in areas such as meals, property, personnel, finance, procurement, information, customer service, and IT.
