Your Role

Do you want to help develop IT security at one of Sweden's most high-tech companies? IT security in our environments and systems is a fundamental characteristic for competitiveness, profitability, and trust in a challenging global market. As an IT Security Specialist at Saab, you will work in an international environment where advanced security threats are part of daily operations, alongside complex IT environments and projects with high business impact. In the role of IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for setting requirements for our IT department based on various applicable regulations. You will support the business with risk assessments and risk reduction related to IT security. You will also assist our operations in identifying and preventing security threats, managing external and internal security requirements, and being a key player in handling incidents and increasing security awareness.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• IT security requirements setting
• IT-based communication solutions
• Risk management
• Incident and crisis management, including incident investigations.
• Security accreditation
• Compliance control
• Teaching, training, and presentations

The location for this role is in Linköping or Arboga.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent work experience in IT, IT architecture, communication security, or similar. You should have a deep technical understanding of how different solution patterns and security mechanisms affect security in an IT environment.

Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are a requirement.

Personal qualities will be of great importance, and it is essential that you are reliable with strong ethics and high personal integrity. You understand the need for security in a business-driven environment. It is important to us that you have an accepting attitude towards others, regardless of who you meet. Respect and dignity should be guiding principles for you in all contexts.

Meritorious for the position:

• Experience in IT architecture in large environments and networks
• Experience working with Swedish security protection.
• Experience from Swedish authorities' requirements regarding IT security
• Experience from information security standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST 800-171.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
