About Knodd

Knodd was founded to guide, provide security to, and empower parents. We are a healthcare provider that focuses entirely on pediatric care. With us, parents can today receive support and pediatric care from experienced specialist nurses and pediatricians via video calls, take digital parenting courses, and monitor and understand their children's health and development - all through the Knodd app.

Today, the organization consists of about 100 specialist nurses and around twenty pediatricians with extensive experience in pediatric care and child health care. The majority of Knodd's healthcare staff work part-time from home remotely, and many also work in other physical healthcare settings. We are constantly working to create safer and more personalized care in ways that focus on the needs of children and parents. In this way, we also aim to reduce unnecessary visits to emergency care and provide the right care at the right level.

We are now looking for an engaged Medical Lead Physician (MLA) who wants to continue working with us and contribute to Knodd's ongoing development.

About you

We are looking for a specialist physician in pediatrics with many years of clinical experience in general and emergency pediatric care. You are a team player who thrives in collaborations both within your immediate team and cross-professionally. You are interested in patient safety issues and organizational development and want to be actively involved in improving care for patients, parents, and employees. It is also beneficial to have an interest in the future of care and how technology can play a role in it, and to be open to new ideas and working methods.

We envision you as humble, cooperative, and proactive. We are looking for someone who is meticulous in their work and takes great responsibility for their tasks. Furthermore, you are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

We work hard to create a good working environment at Knodd and therefore place great importance on personal suitability.

About the role

As part of the care team, you participate in daily work while having a central role in management work. You act as a close companion and an important support to the operations manager, and together you work to drive and develop the organization. Through your experience and medical expertise, you contribute to ensuring that the medical thinking permeates the entire organization and becomes a natural part of both operational and strategic decisions.

In the role, you are responsible for ensuring high medical quality as well as working with the operations manager to shape and further develop the care operations. Together, you create a patient-safe and quality-driven care that meets both today's and tomorrow's needs.

As MLA, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the care maintains high medical quality and is based on scientific evidence and proven experience.
  • Actively participating in management work and driving quality and patient safety efforts together with the operations manager.
  • Establishing competence requirements for the recruitment of healthcare staff.
  • Contributing to long-term strategies to strengthen the competence of healthcare staff and further develop the organization's working methods.
  • Investigating deviations and risks in close collaboration with the operations manager and providing support in complex cases.
Our offer to you
  • An active role in medical planning work where you contribute your expertise to shape tools, processes, routines, and guidelines for our operations.
  • A unique opportunity to shape the future of care by contributing to the continuous development of Knodd's digital services.
  • Flexible working arrangements with the possibility to combine physical work at the office in central Gothenburg with remote work.
  • Health, life, and accident insurance, occupational pension, wellness allowance, on-call compensation, and paid vacation.
Practical details
  • Employment type: Permanent, at least 50% up to full-time.
  • Start date: By agreement
  • Salary: By agreement.
