Welcome to Skoga – a senior care home beautifully located in Huvudsta with views of Lake Ulvsunda. Skoga is run by the municipality of Solna. We have 100 residents and approximately 120 employees. What Does the Job Entail?

As a nursing assistant at Skoga Senior Centre, your task is to create a safe environment for the residents together with your colleagues. You will provide good care and, together with the residents, plan and carry out activities and outdoor time, for example in our beautiful garden, with the goal of ensuring the residents have a meaningful daily life.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Key worker responsibility: following and implementing measures in the residents' action plans
• Offering activities/socializing that provide a meaningful daily life, going for walks
• Documentation in the social journal (Life Care)
• Service tasks such as laundry, cleaning, serving meals, baking, and other practical tasks
• Performing medical interventions after delegation and collaborating with the responsible nurse and paramedic

The work is scheduled during both day and evening shifts. Weekend duty is included in the position.

Who Are We Looking For?

Qualifications:

• Nursing assistant education (or ongoing education in another licensed healthcare profession) and/or experience working in elderly care
• Good knowledge of care and support work
• Good digital skills at a level required for these tasks
• Experience with social documentation
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• A recognized protected professional title as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Knowledge of BPSD (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia)
• Knowledge of welfare services

The role requires you to be a secure and empathetic person who takes initiative. To succeed, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and are flexible. You are someone who considers the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and can plan and organize your work efficiently.

More Information About the Application

The position is a fixed-term employment over the summer at 80% until August 31st, with a start date by agreement. There may be an opportunity for extension after the summer. We welcome you to submit your application no later than June 15, 2026.
