About the role

You are the hub for the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you can give each resident the best possible life. In this role, you work closely with the residence's group leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.

We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. A course we can offer you is "Leading without being a manager".

Getting to know the residents

Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions are often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.

Clear routines

To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-implement routines, policy documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called MiraQ.

As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital onboarding program together with your mentor to ensure you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines.

About Villa Idun

Villa Idun – a modern elderly care home with 54 apartments that exudes Nordic design and combines functionality and interior design based on the latest research on the well-being and living conditions of the elderly. It is an environment that stimulates all senses and a home to thrive in!

Villa Idun is located in a new and well-planned residential area in Enköping, about 35 minutes from Stockholm, with proximity to municipal services, transport, and city life, but also to nature. Just a stone's throw away is the railway station in Enköping – sometimes called "Sweden's closest city".

Both permanent places and short-term places

Villa Idun offers places for elderly people with dementia and care places. In addition to permanent residence places, there is short-term care.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a registered nurse, and we would like you to have worked a few years within elderly care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions and an interest in the aging human being. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
